Replacement for Shelby Boat Winch

Question:

I am looking for parts for a Shelby boat winch and when I Google it they come up under Fulton? are the same? do you have parts for the Shelby winches? Looking for the ratchet repair Kit? Thanks

Shelby is no longer in business and would not be the same as Fulton; there are no ratchet repair kits available for Shelby so you'll need to replace your winch. Keeping in mind that a boat trailer winch has a boat-size-to-winch capacity that is generally 2-to-1, I recommend checking out the Single-Speed Boat Trailer Winch with 20' Strap and Brake # 315-W2000D.

This winch has a 2,000 lb capacity, has a self-locking crank and is zinc-plated so you do not have to worry about it getting corroded.

I want to replace my Shelby 5405 boat winch with a 2 speed winch about the same dimensions

I think the closest option we have is the Dutton-Lainson # DL14825, which features a 2,500 pound capacity and 2 speeds. I've linked an answer page below that calls out its dimensions so you can compare it to your existing Shelby 5405.
