Hello Marc,

I have the perfect option for your 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH64CR. This hitch's tube will be concealed and out of site. The added bonus is that the receiver can also be removed. So when it is not in use, you won't even know you have a hitch installed.

For the wiring you will want the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # C59496. There is not a plug-n-play wiring harness for the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander, so the # C59496 will need to be spliced in, and you will need to run a power wire from your car battery back to the rear of the vehicle as well. Don't forget to grab a Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 for a clean looking install.

If you are in need of a ball mount, check out our etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball - 2" Hitch - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # e67DR. I really like the black nickel plating on our hitch ball, gives it a nice sleek look.

I do not have any install videos for the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander, so if you are near the Wentzville, MO area we would love to do the install for you so we can have the content on our site. I did attach an install video on a 2021 Genesis GV80 for the wiring, so you can see what you are getting yourself into.

What are you looking to use the hitch for?

Hey Marc, Did the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch and Curt Tail Light Converter work out for your 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV? I'm curious to know how it all came together for you, as it could help others with similar setups.
