Question:
There are so many options. I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander that I would like to install a trailer hitch and the wiring harness for lights. Please recommend what I should install. Also, how can I tell if it has a tow kit installed? I dont find any wires under the rear bumper. Thanks for your help.

As long as your Outlander isn't the plug in hybrid (PHEV), I'd recommend the # 118482 for vehicles without the factory tow package or # 118277 for vehicles with the tow package. If your vehicle has the tow package, it will have the tow package electrical connector located behind the driver's side bulkhead in the cargo area, to the rear of the wheel well as shown in the provided photo. You could also call your Mitsubishi dealer with the VIN, and they should be able to tell you how the vehicle was equipped.
For the PHEV, use # C77KR with the tow package or # C59496 for vehicles without the tow package.
For a trailer hitch, I'd recommend # C13398 for the PHEV or # C13163 for the non-hybrid vehicle.
I've linked to install videos that you might find helpful.
