Question:
I have a 2016 trailstar tandem axle boat trailer with a GAWR of 2960 and I need to buy some replacement hubs. Would I need hubs that fit a 3500lb axle or something different? 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern

Hello Tyler, thanks for reaching out. We should have a hub that will work for you, but unfortunately hubs require either knowing your bearings or precise measurements since they aren't universal. A 2,960 lb axle is also not common/standard.
To find your bearings, you just need to take it apart and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them. If you can't make out the numbers, you need to use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride. You can use the photo I've attached to see exactly where you need to measure.
The typical 3,500 lb axle uses a # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing. If this is what you have, the # 84546UC3 hub/drum you were looking at would be correct.
If that is not what you need, get back to me with your bearing sizes/measurements and I am happy to look into it.

Thanks! I haven’t got a chance to pull the bearings out yet but I do know the number 46210 is stamped in the back of the hub. Does that number tell you anything?
