Hey Alex, thanks for stopping by! So yes, you can flat tow your 2013 Volkswagen Jetta! You are going to need:
- A base plate kit, like the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX3831,
- A braking system, like the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Flat Tow Brake System # RM-8700 with the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751453,
- A wiring harness, like the Roadmaster Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights # RO44FR if you have LEDs, # RO94FR if you have incandescent bulbs. If you don't have either, then you'll just need the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-154,
&
- A tow bar, like the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates # e67ZR.
