Trailer Hitch And Parts Needed To Flat Tow 2015 Cadillac SRX

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out. I can absolutely help you with all of that. I will start with the hitch and bike rack recommendation, followed by a complete list of parts for flat towing, and a few notes about towing your 2015 Cadillac SRX.

Here is what I recommend for the hitch and E-bike rack:

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e55AR

- Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S94FR

This Swagman bike rack is rated for use on an RV, trailer or flat towed vehicle. It can hold two bikes weighing up to 80 lbs apiece. Step-thru bikes will require use of an adapter bar part # 64005.

Here are the parts I recommend for your flat tow setup:

- Demco Classic Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # DM9518266

- etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,500 lbs # e94ZR

- Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord # RM-15267

- Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # SM99251

That will cover all the main components for flat towing. You may need to use a drop hitch like part # BLU28XR to compensate for any height differences between the base plate arms and the hitch on your RV. Any height difference of more than 3" will require a drop hitch. Also keep in mind the tow bar has 2" of rise or drop built into the shank.

Also, you may want to get a cover # e76FV and a hitch lock # e98881 to protect your tow bar.
