2015 cadillac srx . How do I know if my vehicle has a wiring harness for a tow hitch? I dont think it has a tow package. Can you send pictures of where the harness would be if its there

Hello Bill, thanks for reaching out. If your 2015 Cadilac SRX has the factory tow package there will be a factory connector right behind the center of the rear bumper. I have included a few pictures below that should help you know what to look for. It should look like the female side of the black plug pictured below.
Provided you do have the tow package, the Curt # 56096 will be the correct wiring harness for you.
If you don't have the tow package, the only option will be a universal harness like part # C59236.
Also, if you are in need of a trailer hitch, the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e55AR is what I recommend.
Leave a reply below with any questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Hey Bill, did you end up finding that factory connector behind the rear bumper on your SRX? Knowing whether it was there could help others figure out if they have the tow package too. Your update could make it easier for the next person checking their wiring setup.
