Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the fascia panel on the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

SRX 2010 - Electrical HarnessThis was super simple to fit. Do not unclip factory wiring spur, just remove plug, plug in this harness and you are done. Great product do not buy anything else.
I took a chance that my 2011 SRX Premium had the trailer wiring harness and all I needed was this connector. I also installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2". I am extremely happy with the result. I bought this to hook my bike rack to the back of my SRX to take on vacation. I actually don't plan on Towing a trailer with my SRX because I have a Silverado for that but I wanted to take a bike rack and I needed the 2" receiver. Even though I don't need lights for my bike rack I figured I should do the job right. The result was great. I even cut out the rear plastic cover to mold over the trailer hitch. One cool thing I was able to do was to create a cut out for the wire connector in the fascia of the tow cover. I have attached a few pictures. I think this looks much better than a dangling connector or a zip tied connector. I chose a drill bit that was the exact thickness of the rounded edge of the connector, drilled two holes and then cut out the area for the connector to make a tight fit. It won't come out. I am personally unclear which models of the SRX and at what Trim levels came with the tow wiring connector but I can tell you that the 2011 SRX with the Premium package does have the tow connector ready to go.

The wiring harness is so easy remove dummy plug then plug in harness. The receiver took a little creativity palms always am by myself so I used my floor jack along with some 6x6 blocks. Can’t stress enough how important it is to clean the welded bolts on the frame didn’t have a bottle brush so wd40 and air hose apex 2 hrs by myself.
Believe this is my 4 purchase of different items E-Trailer is legit knows there stuff and timely shipping about to purchase a bike rack it will be from E-Trailer

works perfect, looks like it came from the factory.
Fortunately, my model car had a direct wiring connection from the factory, so wiring was just a plug-n-play. I used the Curt T-Connector 4 pole - 56096 wiring harness. Not all model/brand of vehicles have this direct plug-in feature. Wiring it much more extension in those cases.
I ordered two products at different times and both were delivered in a timely manner and preformed as expected. I'm very pleased with E-Trainer. They perform as advertised. Definitely a cut above the competition.

I received my order (hitch receiver and electrical hookup) in a very prompt manner. I did take several weeks for me to get around to the install. But when I did, it was as easy and quick as stated. The electrical connection plugged right in without much effort at all. The receiver was a perfect fit. Bolted right on! I didn't include pictures because my vehicle is already very well covered in that regard. Same color and all.
Bottom line is the whole set up is very cost effective and was completely done installing within 45 minutes. Couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you e-trailer!!

We are very pleased with the craftsmanship and ease of installation of our Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver. We were even able to customize the bumper cover to reattach after the hitch was installed for an aesthetically pleasing look. Definitely recommend this product!
Installing the wiring harness could not be easier. The SRX is pre wired for the trailer wiring harness just remove the factory cap installed to keep the fitting clean and plug in the Curt connector and route the 4 pole plug for final attachment after the hitch is installed.
Excellent harness adapter. Easiest wiring of a trailers lights to the vehicle I’ve ever experienced. Plug and play. No issues whatsoever.

looked under did not see any possible wires that can connect what side of car is this on driver? what is a wiring spur
