Can You Reverse Trailer With Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution System RE44FR Installed

Updated 04/02/2025 | Published 03/27/2025

Question:

So I have a couple questions before I spend almost a $1000 on a WDH and some air pads so raise any on my truck once this all installed. I see reviews going back almost 3 years, with no other comment than the box holding all the equipment is practically destroyed, lots of times missing parts. Im hoping that is has been resolved with either Heavy Duty cardboard, or try mounting it to a small pallet. Regarding the RE44FR hitch, I might of missed it, but can I back up the camper with the WDH attached? Or do I need to disconnect something so i dont bend it all up or damage my truck or camper? Hey Craig, as long as you are backing up mostly straight you can leave the spring bars installed on the Reese Pro Round Bar kit part # RE44FR. If you are going to get into a tight turn you are best off disconnecting the bars so nothing ends up broken. The packaging issues have been addressed from my understanding.

Funny story with your name, I saw the text from Jameson C this morning and I thought for a second that my grandson whose name is Jameson C, was texting me at one month old. Besides that thanks for your reply.
