Best Flat Tow Setup For 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have a 2020 Jeep Gran Cherokee I would like to tow behind my RV. I would prefer a system that is permanent and easily connected. Something like the Invisible Base plate with brake wiring. etc. Please contact me so I can have this professionally installed.

Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out. You came to the right place. I will start with a list of parts, followed by a few notes about flat towing your Jeep. Here is what I recommend:
- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # e98950
- etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # e34ZR
- Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord # RM-15267
- Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # SM99251
The diode kit and Demco brake system will be the best bet if you want stuff to be permanently installed and easy to hook up. All of your wiring will be run thru a 6-pin plug on the front of the jeep. All you will need to do is hook up your tow bar, plug in your electrical cable and connect your breakaway and you will be ready to tow. Take a look at the videos I linked below for a more in-depth look at each part.
You may need a drop hitch to compensate for any height differences between the base plate arms and the hitch on your RV. Any difference of more than 3" requires a drop hitch like part # BLU28XR, which is what I would recommend.
Also, I suggest you get a cover # e76FV and hitch lock # e98881 to protect your tow bar.
