What is the Distance From the Ground to Curt Hitch Receiver on 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander?

Question:

What are the measurements from receiver to ground and from pin to bumper for the Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited. I am not towing, but will use a 1Up bike rack with 4 trays and a cargo carrier, and would like to know those dimensions before ordering. Usually your install videos have that information, but looks like you havent done one yet.

Hello Dave.

We have not had the pleasure of installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C26VV on a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander which is why we do not have that information already on our site. I reached out to my contact at Curt and he was able to help me out with the information you requested. From the ground to the bottom of the receiver tube is 12 inches. I included the picture that he sent showing the pin hole measurement, looks like it 1 5/16" from the bumper to the top of the pin hole.

Hey Dave, did those hitch measurements help you figure out if your 1Up bike rack and cargo carrier will clear the bumper on your Grand Highlander? Knowing how that setup worked could help others planning a similar load.
