Electric Jack EJ-3520-WBX - What Order Do The Washers Go In?
Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/26/2024 >
Question:
Two types of washers included: The installation instructions look so easy BUT dont show what to do with the flat washer vs. the star washer. The image shows only the star washer, but I assume that the flat washers are included for a reason! Im guessing that the flat goes on top of the star and below the bolt, making the sandwich: mounting plate-flat washer-star washer-trailer. Can you confirm?

Hello Jenni, thanks for reaching out. You are exactly correct with your guess. The flat washer goes on top of the star and below the bolt. We have an installation video that shows this and you can see the correct hardware placement in the screenshot below. I have also linked our install video for you below. If you fast forward to about the 11-minute mark you can see our technician install the hardware.

Hey Jenni, how did things go with mounting the electric jack using the flat and star washers? Your update could make it easier for the next person working through the same setup.
