Hi Justin; the # A57CCB is designed to connect your vehicle 7-way to a 5-way on a trailer. The 5-way is for trailers that have lights and an electric lockout on a hydraulic brake actuator. If that is what you have on your trailer and you want to wire it in directly you can cut off the connector and hardwire it. If you have electric brakes you want to use the # WG54006-043 instead which has your standard brake output wire and 12V power on top of the functions for the lights.

Hey Justin, how did things turn out with the 7-way to 5-way adapter for your trailer? Did switching to the Bargman 7-way cable give you the brake connection you needed? Your update could make it easier for others working on similar wiring setups.
