When you’re setting up a trailer with extra wiring needs, this adapter keeps things simple. It converts a standard 7-pole blade connection to a 5-pin Delphi plug and includes a built-in 2-pin plug for a backup camera. Everything stays cleanly connected without needing extra cords or splices.
Instead of dealing with slack wire dragging on the ground, this coiled cable stretches up to 94-1/2". It stays compact when parked or disconnected, then extends smoothly to reach your trailer when it’s time to tow. The coil design keeps things neat and out of the way.
The strain relief at the connector measures about 3-1/4" long and passes cleanly through a 3/4" hole. That makes routing through panels or junction boxes easier and keeps the wiring protected from pull or twist.
With both trailer lighting and camera leads built into one harness, there’s no need to run separate lines. The Optronics design ties together the essentials—power, lighting, and backup view—into one simple plug-and-lead setup for quick hookups every time.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this seven pole blade to five pin delphi connector. This is going to convert a tow vehicle's seven pole wiring connection, to a five pin delphi trailer connection, with the two pin camera connection, so that you can see your camera when you're towing a trailer with a backup camera. So you'll be able to monitor that feed. This does have a grip handle on the seven way plug for an easy connection and disconnection, easily pull it out, gives you plenty of grip there. You can see this does have the coiled cord that's gonna stretch and contract to prevent unnecessary stress on the wires.
It's gonna keep it up off the ground but still give you plenty of length so that you can run through. It does have this threaded mounting bracket, that's gonna ensure secure connection to the vehicle there. You can see it also comes with this mount, that's gonna make it very simple to keep your plug up off the ground when it's not in use. You just store it there, once you have this mounted in place. So if you are looking for a cable that's going to convert your tow vehicles seven pole wiring connection to that five pin, delphi trailer connection, the two pin camera connection, this is gonna be exactly what you need.
That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Product came well packed and exactly as described. I have not installed yet, but I do t anticipate any issues.
Always have what I need at a reasonable price and quick delivery.
The 7-way replacement cable fits great, and it arrived just in time. Thanks!
Plug head is too small forn7-pin connector. The weight of the coil is causing wabble and loose connections.
Awesome customer service
This replacement is much improved, with thicker wiring and sheath. So then is a bit larger and had to adjust to install. But works perfectly...and hopefully will.not have the issue of the rubber sheath peeling off the wires. I included a photo of the installation with the original pictured. I had taped it, so cannot see that it was falling apart.....so please pass on to Optronics

Great....no problems. Surprising that is better and more sturdy than the original. So I guess that Optonics made some improvements

This is the first time I have heard of this happening. The flap/cover on the vehicle's 7-way should keep the plug securely in place, but if it isn't, that would definitely be an issue. Is the 7-way on your vehicle a factory 7-way or aftermarket? If factory, what is the year, make, and model of said vehicle? If aftermarket, do you know what brand it is and how old it is?
