Hello Kevin, thanks for reaching out. We do have an option for adding a 4-flat and 7-way to your 2024 Ford Transit T250 without the factory tow package. For that I recommend the following:
- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56327
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7
The T-connector will plug in behind the tail lights on each side. Since you do not have the tow package, you will need to do some additional wiring for the 7-way. The # ETBC7 kit contains everything you need to set up the 7-way, including all of the necessary wires for a brake controller. For that I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. I prefer this controller since it will be hidden behind the dash and will have a much cleaner, factory look inside your new Transit van.
I have linked install videos for all of these products below. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Hey Kevin, how did the wiring setup go on your Transit using the 4-flat and 7-way kits? Your update could make it easier for others adding trailer wiring to a van without the factory tow package.
