Recommended Parts for Trailer Towing with a 2024 Lexus RX 350

I own a 2024 Lexus RX 350 with a towing capacity of 3500. In your info, you refer to a class 3 hitch. Should I be putting a class 2? I have a 2.4 Turbo with 275 HP with a 8 speed auto-Help.

Hey Neil, thanks for reaching out to us!
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C29VV is definitely the hitch I recommend for your 2024 Lexus RX 350 for a few reasons; currently it's the only one available for your vehicle, but even if that wasn't the case, it being a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver means you'll have a much wider variety of options to choose from when it comes to accessories than if you have a Class II hitch. This also features a hidden crosstube so it will look pretty sleek on your vehicle (see attached photo).
Since you referenced towing capacity it sounds like you'll also need wiring and a ball mount kit. For wiring I recommend picking up the T-One Kit # TK92KR and securing it to the hitch crosstube with brackets # C83DR and # 18144, and then for a ball mount kit I really like the etrailer Kit # e38NR because it comes ready to use out of the box and gives you enough of a rise to be about 16" above the ground which is fairly typical requirements for the average trailer.
