Hi Paul; straps like the # 297-9RSDB are not made to be used on truck campers even if they are capable of handling the weight. You need to use turnbuckles like the TorkLift Basic SpringLoad Turnbuckles for Camper Tie-Downs # TLS9000 or # TLS9020 which are designed to secure your truck bed camper.
