Turnbuckles For Frame-Mounted TorkLift Tie-Downs That Are 41 Inches to Bed

Question:

HappiJac Qwik-Load Turnbuckles. I am getting a camper shortly for my stock 2008 Ford regular cab 8 foot bed 4wd and I have torklift tie downs installed It appears It is about 41 inches to the top of the bed from each tie down is there a specific model number that reaches the whole way or is there another part that goes with this vs just chains cut to length ?

Thanks for the photo, and since your Ford has TorkLift frame-mounted tie-downs that measure 41 inches to the bed, the turnbuckles you will need are going to be from TorkLift. The reason for that is there are no HappiJac turnbuckles that that amount of reach as they are for bumper-mounted turnbuckles that are higher up. So the correct turnbuckles for your application are the following:

- TorkLift SpringLoad XL Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLS9050A

These are designed to have a reach of between 35" and 45" each, and come in a pair so you'll need a quantity of two in order to secure all four corners of your camper. Not only are these turnbuckles the correct fit, but TorkLift does require them for use with their tie-downs in order to maintain the warranty of their tie-downs, so they're the best option for you in that regard as well.
