Question:
I have a 2018 Thor Outlaw 37 BG that needs a replacement trailer hitch assembly. The original is bent due to the previous owner. Do you have one that would fit the 2017 Ford F53 chassis?

Hey Steve,
For a 2017 F-53 chassis we currently only have weld-on universal fit style trailer hitches available. Each of these would fit 18" to 44" wide trailer frames and would come with brackets that can give you a different drop depending on your needs. You'll want to measure down from the frame to determine where you want the receiver tube to come out to avoid hitting the fascia. We offer the following drop sizes:
Draw-Tite
7" Drop # 41990-07
16" Drop # 41990-16
Curt
3" Drop # 15901
9" Drop # C47CR
10.865" Drop # 15902
11-1/2" Drop # 15903
18" Drop # C99CR

Kevin Thanks for the response! I’ll keep looking at other options including looking for an OEM hitch from a salvage yard.
