Hitch Recommendation For A 2026 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring Model

Hi - I have a 2026 Honda Accord hybrid touring model and looking for a hitch for just a bike rack 1 or 2 bikes max. What is your recommendation?

Hi Megan!

I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C35RV you asked this question from. This will fit your 2026 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring model, and actually, all versions of Accord for this model year, which is nice.

It also has 200 pounds of tongue weight capacity, so it can handle up to a 2 bike rack pretty easily. Just make sure your bike rack has a 1-1/4" shank. I tend to warn people away from those 1-1/4" to 2" adapters as they cut the hitches tongue weight in half (so that 200 pounds tongue weight capacity becomes 100 pounds of tongue weight). They work, I just don't particularly like them.

On that note, do you already have a bike rack? We do have quite a few good options that will fit this hitch and I can recommend a couple if you would like. I would just need to know what kind of bikes they are and if they have fenders on the front and rear tires.
