Question:

I am interested in a Gorilla lift system. I have an Aluma traier with 7 inch high side rails, will that lift system work? If not, what can I get to assist me in lifting the ramp?

Don, it looks like the Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Cable # GL1 is only going to work with trailers that have a side wall height from 12" to 24" so with yours being so short, it's not going to work unfortunately.

I checked around and I'm not seeing anything that would work with that short of a wall, so what I'd recommend is making sure you've measured correctly. This measurement is taken from the floor of your trailer to the top of the side wall, so you'll want to doublecheck that that's correct.
