Question:
Hi, Do you know whether a Curt 13370 hitch interferes with the hands free tailgate function after hitch is installed? Thanks!

Hi Adeel,
Pretty much any hitch you'd install would affect the liftgate sensors in some fashion and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13370 would be no different. That being said, if you wave you foot on either side of the receiver tube you'll typically still be able to activate the sensors, it'll just take a couple of minutes to find the sweet spot that trips the sensors to open the door.

Hi Adeel, how did things go with the Curt hitch and your hands-free tailgate sensors? Were you able to find that sweet spot that lets the liftgate open easily? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same hitch.
