Question:

Im considering a hitch on my 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite with hands-free powered tailgate it has the sensor so that you can kick under the rear bumper and the tailgate will open. Will either the Etrailer e98855 or Curt #C64NR, block with the hands-free operation? Will I need to install the Honda hands-free trailer adapter antenna?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C64NR and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98855 are both fits for a 2019 Honda Odyssey (All Models). I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver because it will be more hidden once installed.

In regard to the hands free lift-gate feature, this will be limited with either but should not be entirely blocked. Therefore, you can still activate the sensor by placing your foot on either side of the receiver tube opening but it should not be too much of an issue once you find the sweet spot so to speak. If you want to have full uninterrupted access to the hands free lift-gate feature then you would indeed want to consider the relocation bracket (Honda 08L91-THR-100A). Please note, there isn't a hitch for the Honda Odyssey that allows for full uninterrupted access so you will either have to deal with limited access or break down and buy the relocation bracket.
