Is the Oris Hitch a Comparable and More Affordable Option to the Stealth Hitch on a 2026 Volvo XC60?

Updated 12/20/2025 | Published 12/18/2025

Question:

Is this a comparable hitch to the Stealth Hitches one that fits a 2026 Volvo XC60. I like the detachable receiver but I dont want to pay for the name. Thank you for your help. I have a 2026 Volvo XC60 and just plan on using a hitch for a bike rack.

It sure is Rob, and congrats on the new SUV. The Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver item # TS76VR is definitely comparable to the Stealth Hitches item # SH87FR. It's got the same kind of removable receiver that works great with a bike rack, plus you can tow with it without having to buy a specific ball mount. The crossbar mounts in an identical way behind your Volvo's rear bumper as well.

The Oris Trailer Hitch with Detachable Hitch Receiver item # TS76VR is custom fit for your 2026 Volvo XC60. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight, which means it's going to be great for towing a small trailer or using an accessory like your bike rack or a cargo box.

How are you liking your new Volvo so far?

Thank you so much for clarifying. I love the detachable hitch receiver but it makes more sense to go with the affordable option. Loving it so far! Thanks for asking.

I bought the Oris and it is a very good hitch. I use it for my bike rack. It is a little hard to get the receiver out of the hitch the first time but you will learn it quick. The plastic piece you put into the hitch when you take off the receiver might come out on you so be sure it is secure.
