Does Installation of Curt Hitch Require Specific Bumper or Modification on 2007 Toyota 4Runner

Hi. I have a 2007 Toyota 4Runner. Does your CURT Class 3 Round Tube Trailer Hitch - require a bumper that has a hitch cutout? Or, does it otherwise require a different installation to accommodate this hitch?

Hi Todd; the Curt # 13445 will install just under the bumper on your 2007 4Runner as seen in the picture below. You do not need a specific bumper or any kind of special installation/bumper modification for this to fit. However, if you have the factory 7-way installed you will need to relocate it and replace the mounting bracket. Depending on the style of the connector you can use the # 18138 or # HM40978 for a replacement bracket.
