Help With Trailer Sway Pulling a 13' Travel Trailer Weighing 2,300LBS Behind a Full Size Truck

I have a 13 foot travel trailer that weighs 2300lbs.the place I bought the rv says I should have a weight distribution hitch but theyre almost $900 and the one they said theyd sell me is for even the long rvs. I dont need a expensive hitch.mostly I need on for the side wind sway .I have a full sized pickup and theres no real issues other than wind sideways .it sets up high and has scared me good a few times.thanks for any info or ideas on hitches I can install myself.much appreciated Ronny

While a weight distribution hitch like the Fastway e2 # FA92-00-0450 will perform better to control trailer sway you could also use a Friction Sway # 17200 with a Ball Mount # D320. If you go this route you have to remove the sway bar before maneuvering the camper or driving on twisty roads.
