Question:
Greetings, I have a 2021 Honda CRV Hybrid Touring model, and I want to purchase a couple of electric bikes and Thule bike rack, but first I need to know what hitch receiver to get- assuming there is a hitch receiver available. Thank you, John

Hi John,
There is indeed a trailer hitch receiver fit for your 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring so you can get a Thule bike rack. Let's start with the hitch, and the right fit for your CR-V is from Curt:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397
This hitch has good ground clearance and isn't tucked up underneath the bumper very far, which is great because it gives you the best options for a Thule bike rack. Since you're looking to carry a couple electric bikes, I recommend checking out the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack # TH83JV.
This has a 60 lb per-bike weight capacity so it'll handle heavy bikes, comes with locks to keep your bikes and the rack safe, and is a tool-free installation so its quick and simple. All you do when you get the T2 Pro XTR in your CR-V's hitch is turn a handle at the front of the rack and you're set to hit the road.

Hey John, how did the Curt hitch and Thule T2 Pro XTR work out on your CR‑V Hybrid? It sounds like a solid combo for carrying electric bikes. Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar rack.
