Looking for a hitch for 2021 Honda Cr V Touring with hands free sensor. Ive read reviews where people have said it remains functional after install, but the descriptions says it specifically will not fit/work. Thanks

The hitch you referenced, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98848 is for a 2021 Honda CR-V but it does not fit the Touring model like yours. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7345 is the correct hitch receiver for your 2021 Honda Cr V Touring. This is the only hitch receiver offered for the touring edition and you are correct the hands free lift gate function does not work with this hitch.
