Does Trailer Wiring for 2018 Audi SQ5 Require any Programming from Audi Dealer

Question:
I’m wondering if the etrailer hitch for a 2018 Audi sq5 has anything special that is needing to be done for the wiring harness? I see I can buy the wiring to go with the trailer hitch, but I’ve read reviews for the sq5 aftermarket trailer hitches that there may be coding that needs to be done and some aftermarket wiring components don’t work. Can you confirm if yours would need anything special?

Hey Carly, for your 2018 Audi SQ5 the only trailer wiring option we have is a universal install type with the ZCI kit part # 119250KIT which does not require any programming from an Audi dealer to be functional.
