Question:
Hello my name is Marc, and Im messaging about choosing the right trailer for my vehicle. I own a 2014 Acura TL and Im taking the steps to tow a motorcycle, below 500 pounds. Between the Draw-Tite Class I and Curt Class I trailer hitch, which should i choose, is there even a difference?

Hey Marc! Between the Curt item # C11496 and the Draw-Tite item # 24899, I would go with the Draw-Tite Hitch item # 24899 because you see less of it after it's installed. Functionally, they both install in the same way and have the same capacities. The Draw-Tite is just tucked back in farther beneath your Acura.
Either way you go you will be limited to 1,000 lbs of towing capacity including your bike and trailer. Your 2014 Acura TL tops out at 1,000 lbs for towing capacity and you will want to go off of that number not the hitches capacities.
I have linked a couple of installation videos below along with the instructions so you can see how to get them set up.
Since you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 46255 and the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.

Hey Marc, how did things go with the Draw-Tite hitch on your Acura TL? Did it give you the clean look and towing setup you were hoping for with your motorcycle trailer? Your update could make it easier for others choosing between those two hitches.
