Question:

Hello, I have a 2023 Jayco Feather 27BHB with a powered Lippert/Solera awning. I was replacing my torn awning yesterday and while doing so bent the pin on the idler.. I was able to get it back on but it is rolling up/out wobbly. I think the pin needs to be replaced. My question is, is the pin able to be replaced by itself? Or do I need to replace the whole idler assembly? I found the pin on your website Part LC27WD but i dont see videos on replacing just the pin, so i thought maybe the replacement pin might be for manual awnings only? Thank you!

Hello Kyle. It is possible to replace the Idler Head Pin # LC27WD by itself. That said, Lippert does recommend replacing the entire idler head, just to be sure everything will align correctly and work together smoothly. If the pin was damaged, it is likely there is damage to the head as well. For a whole replacement head we have the Idler Head for Solera Power RV Awnings # LC672052 which will fit all of the regal-style Solera power awnings.
