Parts Needed to Add 7-Way With Reverse Lockout Wire to 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE

Question:

2021 Highlander XLE with a TK99FR setup. Worked fine on my old boat/trailer combo with a 4 pin setup. I recently picked up a new rig and it uses a 7 Pin connector on the Trailstar trailer model NZ18TA. I dont see a harness on your site that for a 7 pin that includes the backup lights which would keep the brakes from activating in reverse. Any thoughts? For now I have the surge brakes blocked so theyre always off.

The 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L you were looking at is exactly what you need. The yellow wire will connect to the reverse light circuit on your 2021 Highlander XLE to power the reverse lockout solenoid on your brake actuator. This kit comes with the 7-way adapter, wiring, breakers, and everything else required for installation.
