Correct Replacment 4-Pin Trailer Connector for a 2021 Toyota Highlander

Question:
Hi- I have a 2021 Highlander XLE, it has the factory hitch and wiring package installed. The 4 pin connector that came with the car is very fussy lately, I have to wiggle the trailer plug around and pull it slightly out to get the lights to come on. I have two trailers and it happens with both trailers, so I am pretty sure it is the connector on the car. I used a 4 pin tester and cleaned the pins, but still the connection is not great. I am wondering if this product is a direct replacement for just the plug part on my car? I looked underneath the bumper and it just seems to plug in under there, so I think it would be easy to replace myself. Do you know if this connector it fits in the metal bracket attached to the hitch?

It does sound like there is an issue with the connector itself, so replacing it with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # TK74FR is a great choice.
This is a direct replacement to your OEM connector so it'll just plug right up and fit in place of your old one. If for some reason you can't get the new connector into the spot of the old one, you could always just add one with # 18144 and bypass it alltogether.
