Question:
Trying to figure out which wiring harness I need for a 2016 Ford Explorer interceptor for trailer lights

For the 4-way wiring you will need to see if your 2016 Ford Explorer Interceptor has the connector located behind the rear passenger tire. I have linked an installation video we did for the T-One # 118540 near the bottom of the page to show you the connector location. If you have this you will be able to use the 4-way otherwise you would need to get the Hopkins # HM40285 which connects to the tail lights.
If you are looking for a receiver I recommend our etrailer # e98867 as I feel the matte black finish looks better on the exposed portion of the receiver rather than the others which use a gloss black finish that makes it stand out.
