What hitch do i need for a 2024 Acura MDX and will I have to drill or cut the bumper at all?

Expert Reply:

For your 2024 Acura MDX I recommend the etrailer class 3 hitch # e27KR. This is a 2" receiver rated for 6,000 lbs towing and 900 lbs tongue weight. Install will be fairly easy and you will not have to do any drilling into the frame or cutting of the bumper. The hitch may push directly against part of the bumper, but you will not have to cut. You will need to lower the spare tire during install.

Please note that with the hitch installed you will not be able to store a full size spare tire under the car. The mini spare will fit just fine.

It is also important to note that the hands-free liftgate functionality may be very limited or possibly lost.
