Can Dexter Brake Assembly Set # 23-468-469 be Used in Boat Trailer Application

Hello, I bought ITEM # 23-468-469 for my car trailer and they work great. Now I would like to add them to my boat trailer. Are these electric brakes suitable for marine if I unplug them before launching the boat in the water?

Yes, you can use the Dexter brake assemblies part # 23-468-469 on a boat trailer axle. It's a good idea to unplug them when backing the boat down into the water but a lot of people don't even mess with that and they have no problem.
