Question:

I have a 2017 entegra anthem, that is currently towing a2018 grand Cherokee with an Ascent tow bar and Air Force One braking system. Just purchase a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, which I will also want the ability to tow. What will I need to set up the wrangler to tow using my current tow bar? Thank you,

There are a couple of different options for base plate kits that are compatible with your Blue Ox Ascent Tow Bar item # BX4370 depending on whether or not your 2018 Jeep Wrangler is a JL or JK model.

For a Jeep Wrangler JL you will want the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1139

For a Jeep Wrangler JK you will want the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1134

If your Jeep has an offroad bumper with D-Rings that is rated for flat towing, you will need either the 7/8" D-Rings item # BX88357 or 1" D-Rings item # BX88358 depending on what size you have.

Assuming you still have your 7-way to 6-way cable from your previous flat towing set up. You will need the following parts to control your Jeep's lighting.

Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket Bracket item # RM-910030-5

If you don't have the cable then you'll want the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267.

To connect to your Entegra Anthem's Air Force One braking system you will need the Demco SBS Second Vehicle Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking System item # SM99209.
