Question:

I have: 2023 Ford Maverick, Blue Ox Aladdin tow bar, Blue Ox Patriot 2010 Plan: Demco baseplate DM77YV, Hopkins 39332 trickle charger, 2nd vehicle breakaway kit BRK2505 equivalent, vehicle side 6-pin Curt 58130 socket. Questions: 1 Is there an alternative to RM-154 Towed vehicle Wiring that has the custom plugs for the Mav? 2 Can you confirm that i will not require a Blue Ox tow bar to Demco baseplate adapter? 3 do i still need a brake light relay like the RM88400? Thanks!

There aren't as many custom fit flat towing wiring harnesses for vehicles like there is for trailer wiring so what that means is that for your 2023 Ford Maverick there are only kits that require wiring like the Roadmaster diode kit part # RM-15267.

The Demco base plate kits like the # DM77YV does fit Blue Ox tow bars without requiring and adapters.

You would need to use the Brake Lite Relay part # RM-88400 with the Blue Ox Patriot that you have.
