Recommended Flat Towing Components For A 2023 Ford Maverick 2.5 Hybrid

For Kevin C: Just got my 2023 Maverick 2.5 Hybrid and hoping all the parts you recommended for the 2022 will fit the same?

Yes, the parts I recommended in the Q&A you're referencing would still be a great choice for your 2023 Ford Maverick. I've relisted those options below with one other side note on the braking system incase you have a diesel pusher motorhome.

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR.

Base Plate: The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM97RR (Note: These base plates are only compatible with models with a 2.5 Hybrid motor.)

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15247.

Note: Brake light relay # RM-88400 may be required if used with supplemental braking system. The brake light switch wire you'll need to tap into is going to be purple/white.

Braking System: Since you want a permanent system I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink # DM26VR if your motorhome has air brakes or the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor # DM86VR if your motorhome has hydraulic brakes.

Note: If you have a diesel pusher motorhome with a "Jake Brake" (engine brake) and hydraulic brakes then you'll need to switch from the # DM86VR to the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 because the Jake Brake will activate the lights on the motorhome and thus activate the brakes via the # DM86VR when you're not actually wanting them to.

Safety Cables: Since the # e74ZR already has safety cables you won't need to purchase them separately.
