Yes, going from a 4 leaf to a 6 leaf spring would add slightly to your ride height. For example, if the current 4 leaf spring has 3/8" thick leaves, and you go to a 6 leaf spring with 3/8" thick leaves, you would be adding 3/4" of height to the trailer.

Curb side tandem makes contact with bottom of travel trailer (both tires). Sitting on level ground curb side is lower over tires than road side tire clearance. I am installing MORryde 3000, road master comfort ride shock absorbers and sumo springs on whole trailer. I need to lift the curb side by 2 inches. Will this help or do l need a lift kit or spacer on curb side?

@Timothy If the current leaf springs are worn out and flexed, replacing them might increase the clearance slightly. Larger leaf springs is typically not an effective way of lifting a trailer though. The best bet for that would be a lift kit.

@JesseM, is there a lift kit for a 2021 Coachman APEX ultra lite 265RBSS?

@Timothy We do have the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX which is for tandem axle trailers and provides 1-1/4" of lift. Or part # RR55QX for 2-1/4" of lift. The Correct Track kit can be used with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride system. You would want to use this on both sides, not just one side. Replacing all four leaf springs should level things out side to side, unless your camper is loaded super heavy on one side. In which case the sumo springs will help with that. The suspension needs to be equal on both sides.
