Roadmaster Comfort Ride and MORryde X-Factor for 2025 Forest River Impression 238RLVIEW

Updated 04/01/2026 | Published 03/27/2026

Question:

Hi, I am looking to install this on a 2025 Forest River Impression 238RLVIEW with 5100lb Terran axles. Would this be the correct part ? I also want to install the Moryde X Factor braces. Would I need 2 of them, one at from and rear hanger or would I need a 3rd in the center for in between the Roadmaster boxes? Last, is there a product I can use to raise the height of the trailer in conjunction with those two products? Thanks

Hey Thomas! The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM-2460-2560 is the correct kit for your 2025 Forest River Impression 238RLVIEW. You will only be able to use two of the MORryde X-Factor Crossmembers # MR33WR since you can't install one in the middle with the Roadmaster system.

The only good way to lift this setup would be with a subframe lift. Normally you can add longer hangers or extend them. However, this would throw off the geometry of the slipper spring box on the Comfort Ride system. The subframe lift will lower all mounting points equally so everything still works as intended. This is something you would need a local shop to do since it requires welding.

Where are you headed once you get everything installed on your 5th wheel?

Thanks Robin, will be heading to Glacier this summer can’t wait! Are you able to tell if I’ll need a longer u-bolt kit as well? I only have about 1/4”-1/2” past the nuts. Thanks

@ThomasH how long are the current ones? It is a good idea to change them anyway while you're doing the rest of the work. You can use the MORryde U-Bolts # MR66ZR which are 7-3/4" long and comes with enough for both axles.
