Question:

I have a a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2400BH. I am looking into replacing my leaf springs on my 3500 lb axles and adding the morryde X factor braces. OEM Springs are 1750. I want to upgrade to 2000. What springs and u bolts do you recommend? Will I need the relocation brackets for any of the X factor braces? I have not confirmed yet but I do believe my springs are 25 1/4” long. I also already have the Lippert road armor equalizer and wet bolt kit with thicker shackles.

Hey Mark! Assuming they are 25-1/4" leaf springs I recommend the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e57SR. These are our in house brand and will save you some money. If you would prefer to stick with Dexter we also have the # DX35CR. For U-bolts you can use the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-1.

The MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR is the correct crossmember. However, I can't say for sure if you will need the adapter kit # MR43WR. You will have to take a look under your trailer to see if anything is in the way between the hangers. Most applications don't require the drop down brackets but it is always best to check.

I used the 4000lb 3 leaf springs for a grey wolf 26dbh along with the wet bolt kit and it worked perfectly for my application. Hope this helps.

I have a 2022 Gulfstream Ameri Lite 199DD travel trailer with a #3500 axle. The trailer weighs #1760 wet on the right side because all of the appliances are on that side from the factory. The trailer had a noticeable sag on that side even though the #3500 springs had already been replaced once. I installed 3 leaf #4000 springs a year ago and now the trailer sits level and rides fine. I'm very satisfied with their performance.
