Question:

After the Blue Ox baseplate is attached to a 2018 Honda Fit, what is the height of the attachment points? I need to know what length hi-lo hitch adapter you order. My rv hitch is 15.5 inches high to center of hitch opening.

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2266 has a bracket height of 13" after it's installed on your 2018 Honda Fit.

Since your RV hitch height is 15-1/2" this puts your connection within the 3" Safe Zone of most tow bars like the Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 so you actually don't need a high-low adapter.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
