What Is The Gray Wire Harness For With An Atwood Air Command RV Air Conditioner System
Published 07/24/2023 >
Question:
I am installing the Dometic/Atwood air command model #15028. I want to know what the thin Grey wire with the 4 conductors are used for. It has a small black connector on the end. Thanks

The small gray wire harness you're referencing is the connection between the controller of the Atwood system and the wall thermostat. They give you a pretty good amount of wire in case you have a larger run to where you're wanting to install the thermostat. I typically just wind up the excess and zip-tie it into a bundle up in the ceiling with the condenser unit so it's tucked out of the way.
