Tips for RV Slide Out that Won't Close

Question:

I have a 2002 cedar creek fifth wheel with 3 slides. I have a Parker 642513 hydraulic motor with a dewald pump. My problem, I can get the slide outs to go out but not come back in. I have replaced both solenoids and still have the same problem. Fluid is fine. What pump do I need to replace my current one with? Or motor and pump as I think the pump is failing?

Here are some things you can try that normally help if RV slide outs won't close.

Reset the power to the RV by unplugging it from shore power. Wait a few minutes and plug it back in.

Check all fuses and breakers related to the slide outs.

Try resetting all breakers even if they look good.

Make sure your battery is in good shape.

Reset the slide controller by unplugging and plugging it back in. My guess is this is the problem.

A coworker of mine recently said he saw an RV on the road with his slide-outs out and it was causing issues for other drivers. So if all else fails see if you can call a mobile RV tech instead of trying to drive.

We don't carry replacement for Parker motors or Dewald pumps.
