Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement 63 inch long short arm assembly for RV awnings and this is in black. This is going to replace one short arm assembly used to support your Carefree, Dometic, or Solera RV awning. And I'm gonna go ahead and just turn this over and pull out my tape measure here, and just confirm the length here with you. So, this overall length is indeed sitting right at 63 inches long.
And as I mentioned and as you can see, this is black in color. But if you are preferring a white one, we do carry white as well. And I am including our item number for the white version of this on your screen. Just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com and that item number will take you to the white version of this. Easy installation and worked perfect. Very happy with the product. There are great videos out there to install it and if you have bungee cords to hold the awning onto the top of a tall stepladder it’s a one man job and took me about an hour.
Exact replacement for the one I destroyed. Still working great! This could have been very bad…
Extremely fast delivery! The replacement assembly was great and installation was relatively easy with a ladder and helper. Please note this replacement item does not include mounting screws, the plastic inserts that hide the wiring, or the foam rubber pads that go between the assembly and the trailer when mounting. Be sure to keep those items from the assembly you are replacing. Highly recommend this seller.
I ordered it online and in two days I got it, after watching a couple of videos on installation I installed it when I tried it for the first time I noticed a wobble at the head turned out I needed a new pin the old pin was bent I ordered the new pin from etrailer now it works great.

The short arm assembly was easy to install and work as it should. I was surprised at how flimsy it was.
The part is excellent. It took longer than expected to receive. I also originally ordered the wrong part, which I returned and they received almost three weeks ago and I still don't have my refund.

So happy I found etrailer for parts and accessories for my travel trailer. This is definitely the first place to go for rv and car parts. The dealership said 3-4 weeks for the the awning support arm I needed, got it in 4 business days from etrailer. Arrived sooner than promised and was exactly what I needed. Will at etrailer took the time with me to insure I ordrted the right part. So nice to find a business that provides excellent customer service and expert advice. I recently canceled this same order from Lippert, the manufacturer, thinking out would be the better chance of getting it on time because I had a trip planned. I will never ever order from Lippert directly ever again. I made the order on Tuesday, paid for next day shipping, they aid it wouldn't ship until Thursday and to expect it on Friday. Friday afternoon and it didn't show. No tracking and the weekend came and went and I made three calls come Monday with customer service reps working from home. After 2 more calls on the next Tuesday, a week after ordering the part and no further to resolving the issue I canceled the order and requested the product from e. Trailer. E. Trailer had been phenomenal and I would never go elsewhere unless they just don't have the product. Thank you for the great and easy transaction, multiple choices for shipping and the great communication with transaction info and tracking. You guys rock!!!
The Solara awning arm is excellent. The shipping by USPS was HORRIBLE, I waited more than 2 weeks for delivery.
Awning arms arrived very quickly and were the correct part. However, these arms did not come with the bolts to mount the arms or the caps that cover the wires on the inside of the arms. I was able to reuse the bolts from the old arms, but the wire covers on the inside of the arms that I removed would not stay inside the new arms.
Part came just a little late but I got it and all is good
The on line website was easy to choose the correct items.I was really concerned about the price and the availability of the arms. E Trailer came through and my order was placed, summited and shipped all within it seemed like hours, instead of days. Hats off to E trailer the arms arrived today and they look like they will fit! Now to get the awning on and reattached to RV. Thanks Trailer!!!
I watched a video on replacing the assembly and the installation couldn’t have been easier. Maybe a half hour with the”help” of my 6-1/2 year old grandson. I have always been very satisfied with everything that I have ordered through etrailer.
We site was easy to navigate. I placed the order but customer canceled so when I emailed customer service, the order was already shipped the same day. They processed an RMA and only drawback is the possible 14 day to credit my account.

The awning arm fit perfect. My brother-in-law came over and gave me a hand just because it makes changing it quicker. You would need to rig a support if you do it yourself. It was less than 2 hours to do
