Question:

I have a 2023 Rogue with a sensor to open cargo area. Will installing a hitch stop my motion detector sensor from working properly? If not, can you recommend which of your hitches would work best for me? thanks

I checked with our vendors and there have been no issues with the sensor for the lift gate being blocked on the 2023 Nissan Rogue. Typically what happens is you would have to kick to the left or right of the 2" receiver to find a spot that isn't blocked but we haven't heard of this being necessary.

For your 2023 Nissan Rogue, I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e93ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Nissan with included hardware.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C44ER and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
