What is the recommended grease for this hitch ?

You will just need a white lithium grease for the Curt TruTrack 2P Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C69JR.

The best option will be the LubriMatic Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease # L11316.

I know that the ball gets grease. Are the bar L brackets supposed to get grease also? That would seem like it would defeat the purpose of the friction anti-sway.

@BobO Your thinking is correct. If you grease the L brackets you would diminish the friction sway control so you wouldn't want to do that.
