We carry several fifth wheel tailgates that are a fit for your 2004 Dodge Ram Pickup. I have attached a link to each of them you can choose from.
I recommend the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate, part # VGD-02-4000. This is a black composite plastic frame with louvers, which resists corrosion, and comes with a keyed center release locking mechanism that locks the tailgate in closed position, allows for single-handed release, and includes 2 keys.
I also recommend the Louvered Tailgate Insert , part # VI-4000. This insert attaches to your tailgate when you are not towing your fifth-wheel, and helps prevent cargo from flying out of your truck.
