You sure do Greg! Which is why the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers item # MR33WR comes with longer suspension bolts. These bolts will replace the ones currently being used on your trailer's spring hangers.

The X-Factor Crossmember item # MR33WR is designed specifically for standard spring hangers. It works with MORryde CRE and SRE equalizers as well. This steel crossmember is going to do a great job of lateral support and stability to your suspension.

What kind of trailer do you have and what equalizers are you currently running?

Agree with using the longer wet bolts when installing the X-Factor crossmembers on standard spring hangers. The regular wet bolts are about 1/2" too short in length. I have a 2013 Cougar 24' travel trailer. After experiencing a bent 3,500# axle, I installed two 5,500# Dexter axles under my 7,200# trailer. I used the existing MORryde CRE equalizer attached to my standard axle hangers. I took the extra step of buying the X-Factor crossmembers (3 bars) from eTrailer to bulletproof the hangers from sideways motions when turning or going over rough pavement. This necessitated buying the longer wet bolts. The crossmembers are one of the best upgrades I have done to my trailer. Easy, bolt-on process.

I have a 2024 Keystone Cougar 320RDS midnight edition. After discovering a broken spring and ruined tire (axles about 1k under capacity) I decided to upgrade the suspension with a Roadmaster kit w/shocks and add disc brakes. I also added MORryde X-Factor cross members to the front and back shackles for rigidity. After verifying my order with a e-trailer associate, all kits bolted right on with a few minor part substitutions. The longer shackle bolts that came with the X-Factor kit were wet bolts and it's not recommended to grease the Roadmaster spring shackles because they have a special bushing. I substituted the wet bolt with a 9/16" x 3 1/2" standard hardened shackle bolt. I had to exchange the grease seal on the DeeMaxx disc brake kit. The kit came with a GS-2125DL and my spindle was 1/8" larger requiring seal-GS-2250DL. All the bearings and races were correct. I am very happy with the braking and the upgraded suspension as well as the customer support provided by e-trailer. Would highly recommend DeeMaxx, Roadmaster, and MORryde for their aftermarket parts and quality!

We have a 2021 Grand Design 397TH, that's a big toy hauler with triple 7000lb axels and CRE 3000 stabilizers. I put heavy-duty shackle kits on in 2024 and last year I purchased 4 of the X-Factor Crossmembers as those triple axels get a lot of stress on them when turning. If I remember right the kits came with long wet bolts. One person can put the crossmembers on by themselves but it's a good time to have a friend over to help. We've put maybe 3,000 miles on since then and so far, I'm happy, I don't worry like I used when having to make sharp turns and dragging that thing around them. I'm towing with a F-350 dually and couldn't be much happier with the handling.
